Where to stay in Victoria...
Victoria has many accommodation options including hotels and resorts, bed and breakfasts, lodges and campgrounds. During my trip to Victoria, I stayed at The Fairmont Empress. The Fairmont Empress opened on January 20, 1908 and overlooks Inner Harbour. The hotel is a National Historic Site of Canada. It has 464 rooms, two restaurants, an indoor pool, a fitness center and a spa.

My most memorable memories of my trip to Victoria will always be...
-
Watching the sunset ink the sky in hues of purple and orange from Mount Tolmie Park
-
Seeing a lighthouse for the first time at the Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Site
-
Walking amidst the Chinese lanterns and lights that were strung throughout Chinatown; especially, in Dragon Alley and Fan Tan Alley
