The Fairmont Banff Springs opened on June 1, 1888.  The hotel is a National Historic Site of Canada and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  It has 764 rooms, seven restaurants, three bars and lounges, an indoor and an outdoor pool as well as a spa.
